TP Route Recommendations
Phase 1: Camp Icarus โ Port Atlantis
Start by unlocking TPs along the coast:
- Camp Icarus (start here)
- Orthos West Mound
- Port Atlantis (main city โ auction, shops, everything)
Phase 2: Port Atlantis โ South
- Atlas Haven
- Bilton Towers
- Cape Corinth
Phase 3: Expand North/West
- Twin Peaks (major settlement, popular sweat circles nearby)
- Neaโs Place (legendary Ambulimax sweating spot)
- Fort Troy
[!NOTE] Run naked when discovering TPs. Remove all equipment to avoid decay from random mob encounters. Death is free โ you just respawn at the nearest revival terminal. The goal is speed, not survival.
Planet-Specific Tips
- Complete Setesh first โ Donโt skip the starter moon tutorial. Free gear worth 50+ PED awaits
- Join #calytrade chat channel โ This is where most player-to-player trading happens on Calypso
- Visit Port Atlantis regularly โ The auction house here has the most listings, plus fishing dailies (Jolene) and cooking stations
- Try fishing (April 2026+) โ Get a free rod on Setesh, fish at Port Atlantis, sell catches for strong markup
- Neaโs Place for sweating โ The best organized sweat circles are often here
- Ashi Oil Rig (PvPvE) โ Oil extraction in a PvP zone; drop rate tripled in Nov 2025 update. Anti-griefing turrets now protect spawns. High risk, high reward
- Orthos Oil Rig โ Reopened for lower-budget players; less competitive than Ashi
- Umbranoid content โ Check for active Umbranoid invasion events; unique loot and Codex entries
- ARIS โ Calypsoโs orbiting moon with daily instanced dungeons. Home of Hyperion Aurora and Oblivion Protocol weapons (see ARIS guide)
- Calypso Land Deeds (CLDT) โ If you become a serious player, CLDT shares provide passive income from all planet activity
- Calypso is the benchmark โ Most guides, price references, and community discussions assume youโre on Calypso
- Entropia Rewind โ Use the built-in capture tool (March 2026) to record your best moments and share clips to YouTube
