โก Enhancer Economics
Enhancers boost your weapon stats โ but at a cost. Learn when they're profitable, when they're a money pit, and how to calculate your break-even point.

๐ง Sockets
Weapons have enhancer slots (0-10). Each slot accepts one enhancer. More slots = more potential boost but higher cost.
๐ฅ Break Rate
Enhancers have a chance to break every click. Average lifespan varies by tier โ roughly 50-200 clicks depending on type.
๐ Tiers
Higher tier enhancers give bigger bonuses but break faster. Basic โ Modified โ Advanced โ Improved โ Superior.
๐ฐ TT Value
When an enhancer breaks, you lose its TT value. The MU above TT is your real cost per enhancer.
Common Enhancer Types
| Type | Effect | Avg TT | Avg Clicks | MU Range | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon Damage | +Damage per hit | ~1 PED | ~50-80 | 105-130% | Big mob hunting |
| Weapon Accuracy | +Hit chance | ~1 PED | ~50-80 | 105-120% | Low-accuracy weapons |
| Weapon Economy | -Ammo cost/click | ~1 PED | ~50-80 | 110-150% | High-eco grinding |
| Weapon Range | +Max range | ~1 PED | ~50-80 | 105-115% | Kiting builds |
| Finder Depth | +Depth reach | ~2 PED | ~40-60 | 110-140% | Deep mining |
| Finder Range | +Scan radius | ~2 PED | ~40-60 | 105-120% | Area coverage |

๐ When Are Enhancers Worth It?
โ High-eco UL weapons: The extra DPP cost is tiny relative to damage gain. Almost always worth it if MU is reasonable.
โ Hunting high-HP mobs: More damage = fewer clicks = less armor decay and healing. Total cost often decreases.
โ Damage enhancers for overkill mobs: If you're barely killing mobs in X clicks, damage enhancers can drop you below that threshold.
โ Mid-eco (L) weapons: Do the math. If enhancer MU is high and weapon DPP is already bad, you're compounding losses.
โ Low-eco weapons: Enhancers on a bad weapon make it worse. Fix the weapon first.
โ High MU enhancers (>150%): Unless you're hunting very specific high-return mobs, the math rarely works out.
โ Economy enhancers (usually): The savings per click are often less than the enhancer cost/click. Very niche use cases.
